Background
The Cummings V. Zuill Leadership Award was established in recognition of the pioneering contribution Mr. Cummings V. Zuill made to philanthropy and the development of the third sector in Bermuda. The Award scholarships are intended to promote the leadership training and skill development of individuals working in, or volunteering for, third sector organisations. These third sector organisations are not-for-profit groups, which are comprised of registered Bermuda charities and faith-based bodies (e.g., churches).
The Cummings V. Zuill Leadership Award Trust was established in 2008 and made possible by a grant from The Atlantic Philanthropies. It is managed by a Protector Committee appointed by the Trustees.
If you know of a third sector organisation that would like to further develop its employees or volunteers but which lacks the funds for this, please encourage it to apply for a Cummings V. Zuill Leadership Award.
“I want to thank you for allowing me to have the opportunity to benefit from professional coaching... The experience has been hugely beneficial to both my professional life and personal.”

The Leadership Award financially supports personal and professional training, locally or overseas, as well as the continuing education of persons in the third sector community.
